Welcome and a Note About Working Together

If you’re here because you’ve chosen to work with me as your Life and Relationship Coach, I’m truly honored and excited to support you on this journey. If you’ve somehow landed on this page by accident… well, you might find more inspiration over on the blog or through exploring what coaching is all about.

For new clients, this page outlines the Terms of Service for our work together. I encourage you to read through these carefully before signing the intake form so you feel informed, comfortable, and empowered in our agreement.

If there’s anything in this policy that doesn’t sit right with you or raises questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I want our work together to feel like a safe, supportive, and collaborative space from the very beginning.

Confidentiality

All information shared by the client during coaching sessions is treated as strictly confidential and will not be disclosed to any third party without the client’s written consent, except as required by law (e.g., if there is an imminent risk of harm to self or others, or if compelled by a court order).

Wendy Lynne agrees to maintain the confidentiality of all notes, records, and communication, whether in written, verbal, or digital form. She will take all reasonable measures to ensure the security and privacy of client data, including secure storage and communication practices.

While coaching is not a substitute for licensed mental health care and is not bound by HIPAA regulations, this agreement reflects Wendy Lynne’s professional commitment to uphold the highest standards of discretion, integrity, and respect.

Wendy Lynne abides by the ethical guidelines set forth by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), including their Code of Ethics regarding client confidentiality. More information can be provided upon request.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation requires 48-hour notice.

Due to the fact that I arrange my schedule around planned sessions, all sessions have a “no refund” cancellation policy. If a scheduled session is cancelled with 48 hours’ notice, it may be rescheduled within the same month.  During most weeks, rescheduling will be possible; however, the client might have to select a date and time that is not their first choice.

In the rare event of my needing to cancel a session, client has two options: another session may be scheduled or the payment for the cancelled session may be refunded.

No Show Policy

Clients who are not present within 15 minutes of the session’s scheduled starting time are considered “no show.”  Payment is still required in the event of a no show.

If you text or call me I will wait, however, that session will still conclude at the end of the appointed hour.

Liability Waver

Wendy Lynne bases her guidance and advice on her training as a life coach, hypnotherapist and nutritionist. She draws from what she has learned: which thoughts, techniques and actions have created success. Wendy Lynne is NOT a medical professional or licensed psychologist. For issues with medical or psychological gravitas, Wendy’s input is to be considered just that: input, rather than a medical or psychological diagnosis or directive. Before taking any action that could affect the client’s or family’s physical or psychological health, please consult with a medical professional.

Wendy Lynne is not liable for the actions, behaviors, mental or emotional states of the clients that she works with.

Payment

Payment, cash, check or credit card payment can be paid at the end of the session.

Refund Policy

I have a “No Backsies” policy which means once you’re in, you’re in. I do not offer refunds.

This is not designed to trap you into a coaching program that you don’t like, but rather to hold you (and us!) accountable to your commitment to change and transformation — I can’t commit to you unless you commit to you.

Over the years, I have found that when dealing with transformational change, many people become subconsciously triggered and use avoidance of the work – being too busy, to overwhelmed, etc – as a way to escape the uncomfortable process of healing.

Any unused sessions will not be refunded, but may be used at anytime in the future.  They do not expire!

Unused sessions may also be gifted to a friend or family member presuming I deem that person is suitable for Life Coaching.
