Helping People Create Change Since 2010
What Is Career Coaching?
Career coaching isn’t just about finding a different job. It’s about understanding yourself and what’s keeping you from creating the career you really want.
You may have a successful career but no longer feel excited or fulfilled by your work.
Maybe you know you want something different but have no idea what that looks like. Or perhaps you have dreams and ambitions you’ve been afraid to pursue because they don’t seem realistic or possible.
Sometimes what keeps us stuck isn’t a lack of skills, experience, or opportunities. It’s the fears and beliefs we’ve developed about ourselves, what we’re capable of, what we deserve, and what we’re allowed to want.
My approach to career coaching goes beyond personality tests, resumes, and conventional job searches.
Together, we’ll uncover the fears and unconscious beliefs influencing your decisions, reconnect with what genuinely matters to you, and explore possibilities you may have been afraid to consider.
The goal isn’t just to find another job. It’s to create a career that feels right for you.
Where You May Feel Stuck
Do Any of These Sound Familiar?
You don’t have to hate your job to know something isn’t right. Sometimes it’s a quiet feeling that you’re meant for something different, but you don’t know how to get there.
Doubting Yourself
You question whether you’re capable, qualified, or deserving of something better, even when there’s evidence that you are.
Career Coaching That Goes Beyond Finding a Job
What If What's Holding You Back Is What You've Come to Believe About Yourself ?
We all develop beliefs about who we are, what we’re capable of, and what it takes to be successful.
Some come from our families, our early experiences, or the expectations we’ve learned to live up to.
You may believe you have to work hard to prove your worth, that changing direction means you’ve failed, or that pursuing something you love isn’t practical.
You may tell yourself you’re too old, too inexperienced, or not qualified enough to do what you really want.
These beliefs can feel like facts, even when they’re not true.
That's why my approach goes deeper than traditional career coaching.
Rather than focusing only on what you should do next, we’ll explore why you feel stuck, what you’re afraid might happen if you make a change, and what you might choose if fear weren’t making the decisions for you.
Together, we’ll explore what truly matters to you, what brings you energy and fulfillment, and how to approach career opportunities from a place of possibility rather than limitation.
When you begin to question the beliefs that have been holding you back, you open yourself to choices you may not have seen before.

Meet Wendy
Don't Wait For The Right Opportunity. Create It.
Since graduating from college, I’ve never gotten a job simply by applying to an opening. Instead, I’ve always started by asking myself what I really wanted.
What kind of work would excite me? Where would I enjoy the people and culture? What would challenge me and give me room to grow?
Then I figured out a creative way to make it happen.
My very first job is a perfect example. I knew I wanted to work in automotive advertising, so rather than sending resumes to advertising agencies, I picked up the phone and called the head of marketing for Nissan in the United States.
He was so impressed that I had the nerve to reach out to him directly that he agreed to meet with me.
After our conversation, he called Nissan’s major New York advertising agency and told them they needed to interview me. I landed a position several levels above what most people my age were being hired for.
That experience shaped how I’ve approached my career ever since.
I didn’t start with what jobs were available. I started with what I wanted and looked for ways to create the opportunity.
Of course, my career hasn’t been one straight path. I’ve made significant career changes, navigated the transition into motherhood, stepped away from the workforce, and reinvented myself when I was ready to return.
I know firsthand how much uncertainty, fear, and self-doubt can come with changing direction.
Those experiences are a big part of why I love helping people who feel stuck or unfulfilled in their careers.
Since becoming a coach in 2010, I’ve also come to understand that what holds us back isn’t always a lack of opportunity.
Often, it’s the fears, expectations, and unconscious beliefs we have about ourselves and what’s possible.
My approach combines that deeper work of understanding yourself with a very practical belief I’ve lived by throughout my career:
You don’t have to limit yourself to what’s available. You can get clear about what you want and discover new ways to make it happen.

Still have a question? Get in touch.
What is career coaching, and how can it help me?
Career coaching can help you get clear about what you want professionally, understand what’s keeping you stuck, and take meaningful steps toward change.
My approach goes beyond identifying skills or exploring job options. We’ll look at the fears, beliefs, expectations, and patterns that may be influencing your decisions, so you can pursue a career that feels more meaningful and fulfilling.
How is your approach different from traditional career coaching?
Traditional career coaching often focuses on skills assessments, resumes, interview preparation, and matching people with available jobs.
My approach focuses on understanding why you feel stuck or unfulfilled, uncovering the beliefs that may be limiting your choices, and helping you discover what you genuinely want.
We can also explore practical ways to pursue new career opportunities, but the starting point is understanding you, not simply finding another job.
Can you help me if I don't know what career I want?
Absolutely. You don’t need to know what you want before we begin.
We’ll explore what matters to you, what you enjoy, what’s missing from your current work, and what may be preventing you from imagining something different.
Can career coaching help if I'm afraid to leave my job?
Yes. Fear of losing financial security, making the wrong decision, disappointing others, or starting over can make career changes feel overwhelming.
We’ll explore those fears, examine the beliefs underneath them, and help you make thoughtful choices without allowing fear to determine your future.
Can you help me approach my job search differently?
Yes. Rather than beginning with job listings and trying to fit yourself into what’s available, we’ll start by getting clear about the kind of work, environment, and opportunities you genuinely want.
From there, we can explore ways to connect with people and organizations that interest you, expand your possibilities, and approach your search with greater confidence and intention.
Ready to Discover What's Possible for You?
You don’t need to know exactly what you want or how to get there before we talk.
Whether you’re feeling stuck, questioning your career, afraid to make a change, or simply wondering if there’s something more fulfilling for you, we can start there.
